Warm Modern Kitchen

A fresh start with a clear plan

Crafted Home joined this renovation after work had already begun and the homeowners wanted a new direction. Their goal was a clean, refreshed kitchen with warm wood tones and a more open connection to the living area.

Before moving ahead with further demolition, we paused to finalize a functional layout and receive materials. Planning those steps together helped limit the time the homeowners would be without a working kitchen.

Designed around everyday use

The new layout needed to bring together island seating, practical storage, and an open connection to the living space. Those priorities guided the kitchen design and gave the finish selections a clear foundation.

Warmth balanced with color

Bobbie presented a range of finish options and recommendations to help the homeowners refine their vision. Blue lower cabinets break up the wood tones of the cabinetry and flooring, giving the kitchen contrast while preserving the warmth they wanted. A marble backsplash with an inlay behind the range adds a distinctive focal point and brings the palette together.

A kitchen that exceeded the vision

Crafted Home carried the renovation through to completion. The homeowners are thrilled with the kitchen's function and openness and feel the finished style went beyond what they originally envisioned.

Wood cabinets and a blue kitchen island with four leather stools and clear glass pendant lights — Warm wood tones and blue lower cabinetry create the balance the homeowners wanted, with island seating and storage at the center of the new layout.
